Kerala - our experience inside Indian culture, nature and wildlife

We found About India on the Internet and we decided to give them a try after seeing the package they offer and the possibility to customize the trip by adding or changing cities, attractions and hotels was what made us choose them. They were professional from the beginning, Nitesh helped us to create the perfect tour for our stay in India, he clarified every possible doubt we have and helped us to plan each day in a way that best fits our desiderata, so thank you Nitesh for helping us plan our trip to this beautiful country. After being presented with many different proposals, we finally chose the one that seemed better for us. Finally, they took care of booking all the hotels and activities.

We stayed in Kerala for 13 days and saw the beauty of some cities starting from Kochi, then we spent some days in Munnar to see the tea plantations. The next stop was Periyar-Thekkady where we saw spice plantations, we went trekking and bamboo rafting in the wild and saw some natural parks. The next towns we saw were Kumarakom, Kollam and Kovalm. One of the things we enjoyed the most is our ride on a boat house on the backwaters, very relaxing. We recommend it for the last part of your trip, so you can spend some time relaxing if you plan to do a lot of activities during the previous days.

It's important to mention that our tour manager Geetanshi was extremely attentive to our needs, she also made sure that everything went as planned and also wrote to us daily to make sure that the plan for the next day was as planned. A big thank you goes to our driver Rohit who was very friendly e super professional, he helped us a lot while traveling around by giving advice and making sure we have the best experience. Also whenever we were near or passing by something worth mentioning or some Hindu celebrations, he pointed it out for us and also explained a bit more about the culture, very interesting and beautiful.
