This tour is a relaxed traveling experience around some of the most sought after destinations of India. India is famous all over the world for Taj Mahal, Tigers, historic Forts, majestic Palaces, rich history and heritage. We’ll take you through all these elements that make India proud of its history and culture. Starting with the heritage monuments of Delhi, Wonder of the World – Taj Mahal and bird watching at Keoladeo National Park, we’ll take you to a jungle safari at Ranthambhore National Park, where you have good chances of sighting the Indian tigers. There would be 2 jungle safaris included for increased chances of spotting the formidable Indian cats. Afterwards you’ll visit the world heritage forts and majestic palaces of Jaipur.

Delhi (2 nights) – Agra (2 night) – Ranthambore (2 night) – Jaipur (2 nights) – Delhi

 

DAY 01: DELHI (arrival)

Arrive at Delhi by flight in the morning. Welcome to the capital of India and the second most populous city of India – Delhi. The city’s importance lies not just in its past glory as the seat of empires and magnificent monuments, but also in the rich and diverse cultures.

Private with driver will pick up and transfer you to the hotel for check-in. After freshening up, you’ll head out to visit Rashtrapati Bhavan (the residence of President of India), India Gate and the Lotus Temple. Spend the evening at Hauz Khas, famous for night clubs and food. Overnight stay is at hotel in Delhi.

DAY 02: DELHI

After breakfast set out for Delhi sightseeing; visit Red Fort (a UNESCO World Heritage Site); Jama Masjid (the largest mosque in India); Chandni Chowk – one of the oldest and busiest markets in Old Delhi; Humayun’s Tomb (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and Qutub Minar (a UNESCO World Heritage Site).

Hangout in the evening at the commercial hub of Connaught Place – New Delhi’s colonial heart, named after George V’s paternal uncle, and fashioned after the colonnades of Cheltenham and Bath to assuage British homesickness. Overnight stay is at hotel in Delhi.

DAY 03: DELHI – AGRA

After breakfast check-out and head towards Agra. Welcome to the city of Wonderful Taj Mahal. Agra is blessed with one of the Seven Wonders of the World the “Taj Mahal”. City with its rich culture, history and architectural work stands in the top of the tourist destination in India.

Check-in at hotel on arrival. In the afternoon set out for local sightseeing. A trip to Agra would be incomplete without a stroll through its vibrant market and eating syrupy sweet pethas. At Agra you can experience the great Mughalai cuisines.

In the evening visit the majestic Taj Mahal (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) built by Shah Jahan in 1560 in memory of his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Overnight stay is at hotel in Agra.

DAY 04: AGRA

Early morning (around 6:00am) set out to visit the Taj Mahal once again. The Taj Mahal looks really marvelous during the sunrise.

After breakfast, visit Agra Fort (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). It is known as a symbol of power, strength and resilience, as it still stands in full glory. The present day structure was built by the Mughal Emperors. Here you will get the glimpses of the palatial royal pavilions and the royal Mughal lifestyle.

The rest of the day is at your leisure. Spend time exploring Agra.

Note: Strict security check is needed before entering Taj Mahal.

DAY 05: AGRA – KEOLADEO NATIONAL PARK – RANTHAMBORE

After buffet breakfast check-out from hotel and head towards Ranthambhore, one of the world renowned tiger reserves of India. Enroute take a detour to Keoladeo National Park (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), also known as Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. It is a home to over 360 species, including aquatic birds, visitors from Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, China and Siberia.

After that, continue your journey to Ranthambhore. Reach Ranthambhore by evening & check-in at the hotel on arrival. Evening is at your leisure. Enjoy your time watching the sunset over Aravalli and Vindhya hill ranges. Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel in Ranthambhore.

DAY 06: RANTHAMBORE

After early morning tea and snacks head out for jungle safari tour at 6:00 am. Ranthambore National Park is one of the finest tiger reserves in India. It is in every sense a perfect place for wildlife photography. Later come back to hotel, have breakfast and relax.

After lunch head out again for jungle safari around 3:00pm, this time on a different path. Maybe we get the good chances of sighting the Indian tigers. Spend some time exploring the area; the forests around the Ranthambore Fort were once, the private hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur.  The rocky smudges, magnificent ponds and lakes make Ranthambore a refurbishing tourist destination with picturesque ambience. Evening is at your leisure. Overnight stay and Dinner is at hotel in Ranthambore.

DAY 07: RANTHAMBORE – JAIPUR

After breakfast check out from hotel, and head towards the Pink City – Jaipur, famous for its broad avenues, massive forts, magnificent palaces, exquisite temples and royal culture. Have lunch on the way to Jaipur. Check-in to hotel on arrival.  Relax.

The evening is at your leisure. You can stroll through the local market area. Jaipur is also known as the shopper’s paradise. Jaipur’s colorful markets offer a great break to stop and shop on your tour. Take in the glint and sparkle of the rows of shops selling hand-crafted bangles and other decoration items.

Or you can indulge into traditional Rajasthani street food and desserts. While moving through the markets, you will come across the vivacious culture of this region. Overnight stay at hotel in Jaipur.

DAY 08: JAIPUR (local sightseeing)

After breakfast set out for local sightseeing; visit the World Heritage sites of Jaipur – Hawa Mahal (“Palace of Winds” – a high screen wall built so the women of the royal household could observe street festivals while unseen from the outside); Jantar Mantar (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), It is a collection of nineteen architectural astronomical instruments, built by the Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh, and completed in 1738 CE. It features the world’s largest stone sundial.

In the afternoon, visit the renowned forts of Jaipur. On your way also visit Jal Mahal (the palace in the middle of lake). It was built in the 17th century. Visit the grand Amer Fort (or Amber Fort) (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). It is the principal tourist attraction in the Jaipur and the current structure was built during the late 16th century by Rajput kings.

In the evening visit Nahargarh Fort, which provides a beautiful bird’s eye view of entire Jaipur city. Have dinner at an exotic traditional restaurant. Enjoy the local cuisines & cultural performances. Overnight stay at hotel in Jaipur.

DAY 09: JAIPUR – DELHI (departure)

After breakfast check-out from hotel and head towards Delhi International Airport to take your return flight. Bid farewell to the unforgettable memories of wonderful 9 days spent exploring & experiencing Taj, Tigers & Majestic Fort.
